Thorn1 Shattered Glass Portrait

Sounds of a singing wine glass and household noises for the regeneration of the auditory sensory system. A new droning track is out on Silber Records, as part of the annual Droneuary 2025 compilation. This time, I experimented with a live approach: I recorded several samples and played them live via MIDI keyboard. The main sound source is a wine glass, or rather, its rim. The music was written under the influence of the news of David Lynch s passing, which is probably noticeable in the atmosphere. My composition is featured alongside works by Electric Bird Noise, Philip Polk Palmer, Drekka, Martin Newman, Bryce Eiman, Small Life Form, and others, and as always, it s a pleasure to be in such company.
