This King Killer Was EXECUTED By Being RIPPED APART BY HORSES
Throughout the 17th Century in France, there was many executions during the French Revolution. However before this there was a brutal execution carried out in Paris, as a man who attempted to kill the French King Louis XV was pulled apart by horses. RobertFrancois Damiens was a man who was disturbed throughout his life and he blamed Louis XV for many of his problems. However whilst the King was climbing into his carriage, Damiens lunged at him with a knife and almost assassinated him. Following this he was arrested and was tortured, before he was condemned to die and he was to be drawn and quartered by horses. This was brutal. He was brought to his place of execution, and was tortured before his limbs were attached to horses and they were then driven off in different directions. Witnessed were disgusted by what they saw, but some even sickeningly applauded as the man was quite literally ripped to pieces.
