UNDERPAINTING 3 Portrait of a young girl after Rubens, oil painting technique

This video shows the 2nd pass of the underpainting for this portrait. I m using Raw Umber and Titanium White with M. Graham s Walnut Alkyd medium. I waited until the 1st pass was dry to the touch and then oiled out and continued the same process as before, refining the drawing and resolving any issues I ve noticed since the 1st pass. The beauty of this process is that you can continue letting the paint dry and working into it again as many times as you like.
