The Journey to Everest Base Camp, February 2022

On 7th February 2022 we set out from Lukla to complete the 130km Everest Base Camp trek. Winter brought a mix of crisp snow, beautiful sun, quiet and peaceful trails, 17 degrees celsius night times, frozen running water and no showering for 14 days, amazing blue skies, views that you could only stare at in awe, and a wonder at how what you were seeing could be real at all.
