An Aside delivers a dissonant piece of serpentine trance, designed with that cold, malicious precision and blackhearted malice characteristic of the genre. A seething relentlessness, and softly psychotic pummelling of drums, riffs which constrict the air and light from your peripherals, until all senses are focussed on the allconsuming dark that draws you to nothing. The Bside is a lighter, more minimal, ethereal and spacious counterpoint, yet no less dark in its oppressive, loaded ambience between the needling riffs and running chorus soaked arpeggios.
