Full title reads: Russia greets British Minister Anthony Eden in Moscow. Moscow, Russia (Soviet Union, USSR). Part of Britain s efforts to secure lasting peace, Anthony Eden visits Moscow. First official visit by British statesman since 1917 revolution. C, U of Maxim Litvinov (Commissar for Foreign Affairs) on platform of Moscow train station. He talks with another man. Lots of dignitaries and military officers wait on platform. Over them hang lots of flags Union Jacks, Hammer and Sickles. M, S of Sir Anthony Eden (secretary of state for foreign affairs) getting out of train. We see him shake hands with Litvinov. Litvinov introduces Eden to other dignitaries. Amongst them are Mr. Maisky, Russian Ambassador in London and Lord Chilston, British ambassador in Moscow. Various shots of Eden, Litvinov and dignitaries leaving station.
