From Yu Yu Hakusho to Level E to Hunter x Hunter, gender identity has been a consistent aspect of Yoshihiro Togashi s work. It has taken on many forms over the years, and in that time, the language and social impact of discussions surrounding the subject have changed. This video aims to inspect that evolution and offer my own feelings on what Togashi s trans characters bring to the table.
