Built in the second half of the 19th century in the town of PlounéourBrignoganplages, the Pontusval lighthouse serves as a relay between the lighthouses of Île Vierge and Île de Batz. Classified as Historical Monuments, it stretches over fourteen meters in height and has more than fifty meters to reach the lantern. Installed at the tip of BegPol, it was spared the destruction of WWII, thus retaining its original charm.
