Cars and homes destroyed after a powerful flood destroyed anything along the path of Trace Creek. Death toll is currentlhy at least 22 and likely over 30 and still climbing as search and rescue teams continue to look for missing people. Cars shredded by the power of water in the bottom of creeks. Well built homes completely ripped from foundations and destroyed. One home burned in what is likely to be the deadliest the flash flood event in at least two decades. The flooding came from 17 of rain (observed) in just a few hours.
