Bennie And The Jets ( In The Mood) Elton John Piano Cover

One of my alltime favorite songs by Elton. It s so different to anything else he has made and to what anybody else has made. It s one of the few songs which is completely recognizable from the very first chord (Bm, G). I can t get enough of this song when Elton s playing this solo. It s so awesome and the In The Mood section he had added since the 1980 s is so cool. The song first appeared on the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album from 1973 and was released as a single in 1974. Elton was actually against to release that particular song as single as he never thought it would be a hit. Ironically, this song is one og Elton s most popular songs. The song got to number one and Elton was the first white artist to appear on Soul Train with this song and also Philadelphia Freedom.
