Marovantele, duduk and bass clarinet, with touches of chord zither and 5string kantele. Andrew says, The marovantele is a doublesided, doublestrung kantele made for me by Kimmo Sarja in Finland (as was the 5string electric kantele heard briefly here). The doublesided idea came from the Madagascan boxzither, marovany; I d spent many happy tours around the world as sound engineer, tour manager with Malagasy band Tarika, whose instrumentation included the range of Malagasy stringed instruments: marovany, valiha, jejyvoatavo, Andrew Cronshaw, Tigran Aleksanyan and Ian Blake are also members, with singer Sanna KurkiSuonio, of the quartet SANS.
