Wow there are so many Asians in this country The Asian American population has grown a lot lately. Right now, two thirds of all Asians, and 80 of Asian adults are firstgeneration immigrants. Which means the growth rate for Asian population is increasing fast, and there are some major political and economic consequences. Now, we should lay the groundwork on what exactly we mean when we refer to Asian Americans. Its demographic umbrella term for more than 21 million people here in the USA people originating from 45 Asianorigin groups, speaking over a hundred languages.
