Abba SOS
Abba travelled to Warsaw on October 78 1976 for a Polish TV special. They had been voted most popular group in Eastern Europe. This was the first time a major international band had performed behind the Iron Curtain. The Polish government chartered an Abba Special plane to bring Frida, Benny, Bjorn and about 100 journalists to Warsaw. Agnetha travelled seperately with her father the previous day. She and Bjorn did not risk travelling on the same plane, they had young daughter Linda to consider. The tv producer had the very clever idea of Agnetha singing on the ground looking up to the rest of the group in the sky, while they sang the chorus from the plane back to her.
