Russian Russian Typhoon Class U boat Dmitrij Donskoj in Denmark

On August 3th, 2017, one of the world s biggest uboats went under the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark third longest suspension bridge in the world en route for an exercise in the Baltic Sea. This enormous lump of steel of the Typhoon Class, alike in the movie Hunt for Red October, was followed by thousands of people along the shores, as well as lots and lots of boats in various sizes following it by sea. So was me and my son in our Seaexplorer 465, and if you watch closely at 0:41, you will see the silhouette of a small boat with me at the helm, entering the frame from right, going at same speed, appr. 15 Knots, as the uboat.
