The solar term of Chu Shu ( End of Heat)
Chushu, the fourteenth solar term in the twentyfour solar terms, is the second solar term in autumn. It signifies the sun s celestial longitude reaching 150 degrees, falling around August 2224 in the Gregorian calendar. By the time of Chushu, we have reached the end of the three heats period, indicating the conclusion of the scorching hot weather. It marks the conclusion of the intense heat and signifies the beginning of cooler temperatures as autumn approaches.
