O Parque, The Park (1964)
The Park is an experimental film directed by the students of the Film Initiation Course, idealized, organized and coordinated by the Teacher Maria José de Sant Anna Alvarez in a public school in the suburb of Rio de Janeiro. The students of the course were between 11 and 18 years old. They learned how to create a cinematic argument and develop the script and participated in the production and shooting of the film. Filming was made during the July school holidays, on Saturdays and Sundays, when there was sun. 1971 winner of the Canadian International Amateur Film Festival in Ontario, Canada.
