Dudley Stuart John Moore CBE. 1935 2002. An English actor, comedian, musician and composer. Moore first came to prominence in the UK as a leading figure in the British satire boom of the 1960s. He was one of the four writerperformers in the comedy revue Beyond the Fringe from 1960 that created a boom in satirical comedy, and with one member of that team, Peter Cook, collaborated on the BBC television series Not But Also. The double act worked on other projects until the mid1970s, by which time Moore had settled in Los Angeles to concentrate on his film acting. A mixed glimpse through television archives at Dudley Moore s amazing musical talent. Dudley appeared on so many different entertainment and chatshow platforms along with such famous names as Eamonn Andrews and Michael Parkinson and the singer Lulu. He is featured with the renowned Dudley Moore Trio with the unmistakable Chris Karan as drummer. Watch out for lovely arrangements of 1960 s popular evergreen
