Workshop on Zufechten learning sequences Holten 2023

Zufechten is a term that is firmly anchored in the fencing books of the German School of the 14th16th centuries. My workshop is about Zufechten, i. e. the attack, in the form of a direct attack with cuts. However, in the workshop I will not deal with the optimal movement itself, but with possible learning sequences and practice possibilities to learn and train this movement from the simple to the difficult. Due to the limitation to about 60 minutes, I could only show a small excerpt of 23 exercises. Missing are exercises to learn the basic movement, which would take place before and the following practice fights. However, I go into the possibilities of creating such exercises.
