M, Ss and C, Us as two women in fullskirted summer dresses and a man (Bernard Cuff) are seen putting three dogs in the back of a car, a Morris 1000 Estate (Traveller), then drive off along a country road it is a lovely summer s day. Nice M, S as they park on a driveway, as one of the dogs has his head sticking out of the passenger window; they all get out and walk off as the commentator tells us The location is a farm at Ascot in Berkshire, home of company director Bernard Cuff who spends all his spare time, and more than half his total income on rescuing dogs from police station pounds and keeping them until he can find them homes. M, S of a young man in the garden, pouring water into a basin on a table as the others enter with the dogs; two of them have their leads tied to stakes while the other is lifted onto the table to be checked over. M, S of one of the tied dogs lying down and barking (natural sound); M, Ss as the dog on the table has his ears examined and cleaned by the two men; the two women
