This creation is inspired by the tale of a historical battle strategist and warrior known as, Panther Woman, from my tribe The Chickasaw Nation It s an interpretation of her strength and leadership through a fusion of StreetDance and my and like oral tradition, it s a way of passing on one of many Native stories through art to preserve culture and inspire future generations.
