This series impacted a great many people during its run. The research and production are incomparable, and Sutherland s superb, confiding voice makes this one of the best presentations on literature that you will find outside of prep school or university. I was frustrated to find that the series is not available anywhere on DVD, so I provide it here, for those who also remember and have since been deprived.
