Richard Mac Donald and Alexander Bourganov

This video features two recognized masters of contemporary sculpture, Alexander Bourganov of Russia, and Richard MacDonald of the U. S. The two met recently at Bourganov s Moscow Studio, State Museum where they simultaneously sculpted portraits of each other. It s a fascinating look at the artists at work, while functioning as both artist and model. There s a rumor that this may be released as a full video that documents the entire sculpting encounter, hopefully that s the case
