Large Golden Chain Coffee Table

Again a large piece of freeform furniture, what I like to do the most. This time a massive stump from a Golden Chain tree (laburnum anagyroides) which never fails me with it s stunning contrast in core and sapwood. This stump was completely hollow and rotten trough, just on the edge of it being usable. I cut out all the rotten parts, chased the bugs out (MY WOOD ), enhanced the outer shapes a bit for max contrast and added a (used) large oval plate of hardened glass on top.
