A weever is a fish carrying venomous black spines. A fitting name for French producer Weever, boss of Vives Records. Just like his eponymous creature he hides between waters, only stinging with his sharp sound design and haunting religious samples. Flowing strings, ethereal pads and crackling basslines intertwine with EBMesque percussions. On il fut un temps he is accompanied by top of the line remixers, in the person of End Of Mortal Life, Nigh, Tmare, CVRD and Shadowcomplex.
