Us Bombers At Port Moresby (1942)

The bombers start to take off. M, S as General Scanlon and Brigadier General Ralph Royce watch operations. M, S of Australian infantry marching along a road in New Guinea. L, S of Japanese planes attacking distant countryside area. L, S as American fighters take off to engage the Japanese raiders. Various shots as the bombers arrive back at the aerodrome and some have scars of battle bullet holes in tail wings and other damage to the planes. The crews start debriefing. L, S of an American bomber whose hydraulic landing gear has been shot away, coming in to land. He bellies down and comes to halt.
