Eric Clapton Ill Make Love to You Anytime with Lyrics in Description
Track 3 from his sixth solo album Backless released in 1978 copyright RSO Records. It was again recorded at Olympic Studios in London and received above average reviews. It reached No. 8 on the Billboard chart and achieved Platinum status almost immediately. It was Claptons most laidback release and some consider it a tribute to J. J. Cale. After the huge success of his previous album Slowhand the material on this one was considered weaker in comparison. I feel its underrated and hasnt gotten the respect it deserves. This was the last album to include his band of four years, as George Terry and Marcy Levy left to pursue other endeavors. Written by J. J. Cale and produced by Glyn Johns. RIP Carl Radle Jamie Oldaker. Featuring: Eric Clapton Lead vocals, lead, rhythm acoustic guitars Special Guests: George Terry Lead rhythm guitars Dick Sims Hammond B3 organ keyboards Carl Radle Bass background vocals Jamie Oldaker Drums, percussion
