COLD FEET UK TV series 1 episode 4

6 Dec. 1998 Returning to work at the publishing house Karen is asked to edit the new novel by prizewinning author Alex Welch. She is initially uncertain until he arrives at the house and immediately charms her. When Alex invites her to a book signing in Liverpool with an overnight stay she entertains thoughts of their spending the night together. When David realises this he plans to have sex with Ramona to get back at his wife. Meeting Alex inspires Adam to show Rachel the manuscript of a book he once wrote but when she laughs at it he decides to write another one. Pete and Jenny are irritated by a visit from his parents. His father treats him like a child and his mother is so obsessed with tidiness it drives Jenny to drastic action.
