Music of Half Life: Alyx

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you HLA music s critique. Well at least I think it is that. It all started when I watched HLA on streams and thought that there is something off with the soundtrack. And I couldn t help but compare it to the old one. And I talked to my friend at that time about it and he thought the same. I started writing a script for this video on March 31st of 2020. It went through many many phases. And even got remade completely from scratch once. First and foremost because I had many doubts. I am a huuuuuge Half Life fan and when i talk about it I actually feel responsibility. I m very passionate about it. Every time I relistened HLA ost (and I did that sooo many times, just like the old soundtracks) I thought to myself that what I have in mind doesn t have a solid foundation and that it s only my subjective opinion. And it was really difficult for me to actually sit down and start doing the video because I reassured myself that there s nothing wrong with the new OST. I hope
