Art Van Damme plays Satin Doll with Tony Dannon in1997
Art is performing as a quartet with Tony Dannon (a great jazzman), in honor of his friend who just turned 60, in Detroit USA in 1997. Art VanDamme is credited with singlehandedly diversifying the repertoire of the accordion at a time when its popularity was restricted to polkas and folk music. His career includes a 15 year stint at NBC Chicago, numerous LP recordings, and extensive nightclub work and concert appearances throughout the USA and Europe. (more)
