RCM Wind Ensemble: Strauss Joachim Raff

The RCM Wind Ensemble performs Strausss Serenade for wind instruments. An early success for the 17yearold composer the Serenade is one of the masterpieces of the Wind Ensemble repertoire. The concert finishes with Raffs delightful, Sinfonietta, a work full of Mendelssohnian charm and energy.
