As her parents were getting ready for a Memorial Day celebration, Jenna was in the garage when a knockedover gasoline canister ignited a flash fire. With her body covered in 3rd and 4th degree burns, Jenna has had to undergo over 80 surgeries throughout her lifetime. During one of these surgeries in 2015, Jennas heart stopped beating whilst on the operating table. Jenna told Truly: It was very eyeopening for me, I got really depressed and felt like my life was going to be like that forever.
