Geo Sky Boeing 747 200 F Landing Take Off Amsterdam Schiphol
Yesterday I caught an incredible visitor at Amsterdam Schiphol Georgian cargo airline Geo Sky came in with one of their classic Boeing 747200 Freighters. It was 4LGEO, a white and grey beauty with the super cool looking black antiglare under the cockpit windows. This aircraft started out in life flying passengers around the world for British Airways in 1987, before being converted to a freighter and flying for Malaysia Cargo and Air Atlanta Icelandic before ending up at Geo Sky. Flying classic 747 s are so rare the se days, especially one equipped with the early Rolls Royce RB211 engines like this one They have such a magnificent sound and the plane still looks really sharp despite its age of 34 years. This is the second aircraft from Geo Sky that I have seen. I saw sistership 4LGEN at Maastricht last year so I m really happy I ve logged another one now It landed on the Polderbaan in a very interesting way The crew flaired the aircraft a bit too early resulting in a sort
