Title reads: Pantomime Rehearsal. Adelphi Theatre, London. Various shots of showgirls, dancers rehearsing on stage. C, U of producer, Bob Nesbitt. M, S of actor Arthur Riscoe (who plays Widow Twankey in production of Aladdin ) singing along to piano. Arthur has his arm around a blonde women, he leans over pianist s shoulder to read the music. He is singing a song about a whatnot. Bob enters calling Arthur s name. Various shots of the showgirls rehearsing their tap dancing and ballet routines. The girls do not wear their costumes just simple blouses or tunics. The blonde woman (choreographer ) paces in front of them giving instructions. M, S of three actors rehearsing on stage. They are Jean Colin (the Princess), Edwin Styles (Abanazar) and Elsie Randolph (Aladdin). They are practising a scene where evil Abanazar has kidnapped the Princess.
