Unique Pleasure Share My Love (1987)

Rare 80 s funk band from Venice CA, led by Terry Hamilton and George Oliver. Unique Pleasure started out in the early 80 s as the Player s Choice. 7 of the 8 band members were from Venice CA, and attended Venice High School in the late 70 s and early 80 s. Led by Terry Hamilton and George Oliver, they often played smooth funky rhythms that were influenced by Nile Rogers Bernard Edward of Chic. Along with High School friend Eugene Franklin who sings the lead on Share my Love Beverly, they formed a very creative trio within the context of the band in the later part of the 80 s. They had a similar sound to the groups Maze, SOS Band, The Time and Atlantic Lovely Cynthia Moore also makes another appearance in this video 1987.
