Islam came to Xi An, China from the Muslim traders who did business along the silk road thousand of years ago. Their descendants are called the Hui people. And today, there is a big Hui Muslim community in Xi An. We went to Muslim Street in Xi an, China, lined with delicious Halal street food. We also visited one of the oldest Mosque in China, the Xi An Grand Mosque.
