Bobby Bobo And His Western Rhytmaires Stamps
This native of Brookfield, Ohio became somewhat of a star on the WCOP Hayloft Jamboree that aired out of Boston, Massachusetts. He first auditioned with Aubrey Mayhew and was signed immediately. World War II interupted his tenure there, but when he got back to Ohio after the war, he started up his old band and rejoined the Hayloft Jamboree. Bobby and his Western Rythmaires as they were called, did a daily radio broadcast over WCOP. In 1954, Bobby was waiting for his first recording to be relased on Sheraton Records.
