Picot Bind Off
How to bind off with the Picot Bind Off method. This makes a nice, stretchy, elastic bind off edge. Using either the knitted or cable cast on method, cast on any number of extra stitches you like (the more stitches, the bigger the picot), then immediately bind them off. You will be binding off a total of twice as many stitches as you cast on with each picot. For example, if you cast on two extra stitches, you will bind off four. If you cast on three extra stitches, you will then bind off six stitches. You will cast on, bind off until all stitches have been bound off. As with a regular bind off, cut the tail, pull it through and weave in your loose end. If you would like a matching Picot Cast on, watch this video:
