It was built around the number 3. I set up a simple rhythm where there are patterns of 3 s punctuated by brash marching sort of percussion and direct Moogy synth stabs counting out the numbers. It s the drums which force the 3 s, when they disappear and I left the main chord synth running it could sound like a regular collection of 4 s running at a different tempo like what you probably hear in the intro.
