As the superproducer behind Blumhouse Productions, he has helped shepherd franchises like Paranormal Activity, The Purge, and Insidious to the big screen, as well as a number of acclaimed thrillers like Get Out, Split, and more recently, Blum sat down with Rotten Tomatoes to talk about his Five Favorite Classic Horror Films and revealed part of what makes him such a keen judge of quality fright flicks.
