Dozens of Military Vehicles, Helicopters and Nato Troops Arrive in Poland Reinforcements traveling overland for several days from Germany arrived at the base of the Polish multinational NATO battle group Bemowo Piskie. they focused on providing what was called deep engagement, using longrange artillery and attack helicopters to augment the firepower of existing battle groups. Exercise Griffin Surprise provided a platform for allied forces to refine their tactical skills and strengthen their interoperability.
