Whole street swallowed up by GIANT sink hole in Manchester

A COUPLE whose entire home was almost swallowed by a sinkhole have told of their living nightmare. Stephen and Maureen Kennedy, 72, found everything ruined after Storm Christoph wreaked havoc on Walmer Street, Manchester, back in January. It caused a sink hole to appear on the street, swallowing up a car first, before causing two houses to collapse the next day.
