Messi wins a fourth, Sundhage sings

Lionel Messi won his fourth FIFA Ballon d Or on the trot at the 2012 FIFA Ballon d Or Gala 2012, and Abby Wambach completed a double for the USA along with Pia Sundhage who serenaded the crowd at 3:05. Miroslav Stoch won the Puskas Award for best goal, and Vicente del Bosque claimed FIFA Coach of the Year after Spain won the UEFA European Championships. Ruud Gullit and Kay Murray hosted the event, which also saw FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter speak and present the FIFA Presidential Award to Franz Beckenbauer, and the FIFA Fair Play Award went to the Uzbekistan Football Federation.
