The US Coast Guard Cutter Waesche arrives in San Diego with approximately 18, 219 pounds of cocaine estimated to have a street value of 239 million. For the full story read: The United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) Waesche (WMSL751) is a Legendclass cutter homeported at Coast Guard Island Alameda in the San Francisco Bay. It had been operating off the coast of Central and South America in order to interrupt drug smuggling operations; including intercepting a selfpropelled semisubmersible (SPSS). The Coast Guard Cutter arrived in San Diego on December 6th, 2023, where the drugs were offloaded at the 10th Avenue Marine Terminal infront of press.
