Ukraine Honours WWII Soldiers: Kyiv joins Europe in marking the end of WWII on May 8
Ukraine has honored fallen World War Two soldiers, exactly 70 years after the surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945. It was the first time Ukraine joined most of Europe in holding commemorations on May 8, rather than with Russia on May 9, in the wake of Moscows intervention in Ukraines Crimea and Donbas regions. Veterans from the Red Army, Ukrainian Insurgent Army as well as current servicemen attended the event. Check out our website: Facebook: Twitter: http
