In the fall of 2018, JoelPeter Witkin, one of the most recognized and talented artists worldwide, was diagnosed with dementia. I ve known and represented Joel for 20+ years and was shocked by this information. On February 21, 2019, I flew down to Albuquerque with Ben Kolak, a filmmaker CEG has been working with for more than 10 years, to interview Joel about his condition and the effect it has had on his life and photography.
