ANSYS simulation of bolted gearbox
This is 2stage simulation of standard conical gearbox (reducer). Bolts are tightened on the first stage. Driving torque 450 Nm and pulley tension 5 kN are applied by the representative loading fork on the second stage. Bolts are most highly stressed, then goes driving shaft and lugs on the gearbox casing. Contact pressure distribution indicates splitted junction between upper and lower parts of casing. Local contact openings are visible in the final part, when 1000times scaling of displacements is use
