Guyanese Baked Custard
Cookbook The Meltin Pot can be found on website: Guyanese Baked Custard 6 large eggs 4 12oz cans of evaporation milk 1 cups sugar 2 tbsp vanilla or almond extract (I used brown rum) 1 whole nutmeg DIRECTIONS: PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES 1. Blend up the eggs in a mixing bowl until fully combined. Then add in all the remaining ingredients except for the nutmeg. Keep blending for about 5 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved and everything is mixed well together. 2. Pour out into baking dish and grate the nutmeg over the entire top of the custard. 3. Place the dish in a hot water bath and put in the oven and bake for roughly 3545 minutes. Do Not burn the top. ENJOY FOLLOW US ON:
