Fashions In Leather (1959)
Mayfair, London. From the Paul Blanche spring collection various models display the latest in leather and fur coats. M, S model walking along catwalk wearing a short beige shirt jacket in very soft leather, and blue skirt. She crumples the hem to show how supple it is. There are cut away shots to the audience of mainly older ladies wearing furry or fluffy hats. A second model wears a calf length yellow coat with headscarf, and there is a brief shot of a model with red nail varnish and a cloche hat, smoking. M, S of the third model wearing a short red leather jacket, followed by C, U leather trousers with white top stitching. Next follows a light blue coat, which the blonde model opens to show the striped silk lining she has a flippant style of modelling and her make up seems over done with her eye shadow matching the coat.
