Evolution of the Arm AMBA Specifications
This video gives a brief overview of how Arm s Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture (AMBA) has evolved to meet the demands of new processors and new technologies. From the Advanced System Bus (ASB) and Advanced Peripheral Bus (APB) through AXI, ACE, and CHI protocols, to the Adaptive Traffic Profiles (ATP), which complements existing AMBA protocols and is used for modeling systems masters and slaves highlevel memory access behavior.
