Tarkovsky Requiem

Shot in Tuscany at the St Catherine Of Sienna thermal baths and the abbey of San Galgano, locations featured in Andrei Tarkovsky s film Nostalghia (1983). Concludes with footage shot at Tarkovsky s grave in the Russian cemetery at St Geneveive Des Bois, south of Paris. Field recordings made at the grave of Alexander Litvinenko in Highgate cemetery, London, and the bells of L Eglise Saint Jacques, Dieppe. Church organ recorded at St Mary s Church, Brighton.
